Establishing & Maintaining a Wildlife Garden

Let Nancy Tatum show you how to establish and maintain a wildlife garden. Whether you have a small or large space to grow flowers, are a beginner or have an established garden, this program will give you ideas on how to grow flowers to attract wildlife. There will also be discussion on the importance of growing native plants, how to avoid pesticide use, and how to certify your yard as a wildlife habitat. A self-taught gardener for 20 years, Nancy has transformed her yard into a sanctuary for wildlife, including pollinators. She is Vice President of the Central Chapter of the Indiana Native Plant Society (formerly known as INPAWS.) 2:00 p.m., Nora Branch Library, 8625 Guilford Avenue, Indianapolis.  www.indiananativeplants.org
