Indiana Wildlife Federation
708 E Michigan St, Indianapolis, IN 46202

Central Chapter’s August meeting will take place August 19 with a social hour at 2 PM and a presentation on the Certified Wildlife Habitat program at 2:30PM. Come early and mingle with other Central Chapter members. Snacks and water will be provided. The public is welcome.

The Certified Wildlife Habitat Workshop is a unique educational opportunity for individuals and families who are interested in protecting the natural beauty and local wildlife of Indiana. Program participants will learn about native plants and animals, explore the links between their communities and larger ecosystems, and discover how to create a wildlife-friendly habitat. The Indiana Wildlife Federation, the state affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation, developed this course to connect property owners and managers to nature in a fun and educational way.

The meeting will be led by Aaron Stump, the Habitat Programs Manager at IWF and he has been with the organization for 2 1/2 years. He has a degree in Environmental Science from IUPUI. Some of Aaron’s hobbies include gardening, hiking, and nature photography.
