Need an excuse to become an INPAWS member? This is it!
Chapter members will picnic at a private home that offers a variety of ecosystem options to explore, including a prairie with over 100 native species, and an alternative septic system that uses native wetland plants to treat wastewater. For the field trip, groups will carpool to Glacial Esker Nature Preserve, inside Chain O’ Lakes State Park. The preserve is home to several state-endangered plants. Guests are asked to:
