Nature Daze is an outreach program sponsored by the Brown County Native Woodlands Project (BCNWP) to help landowners better understand the importance of managing their property to create a resilient native habitat.
Activities for the day include talks and interpretive hikes led by resource professionals, a native plant sale, an herbicide giveaway, a children’s program, door prizes and a free picnic-style barbecue lunch. Spend the day learning, exploring and having fun at Camp Rancho Framasa located in the beautiful hills of Brown County!

Kids Program
The Kids Program is for children ages 5 through 15 whose parents and/or grandparents are attending Nature Daze. Children under the age of 5 that wish to participate must be accompanied by an adult.
CYO Camp Rancho Framasa staff have a variety of activities planned around Camp that will “bewilder” participants as they learn more about the environment in which we live. Topics and activities for the day include ‘Animal Adaptations’, ‘Backyard Biodiversity’, ‘Living with the Land’, a Bounce House, a Live Raptor program, and a Creek Stomping Hike.
A free picnic style BBQ lunch will be served and native plants will be available for purchase.
