Trail Conditions: We’ll hike for about 2.5 miles with some hills and stairs and possible muddy spots. Bugs should not be a problem.

What To See:  A fine display of spring wildflowers in the hardwood forest of the Fall Creek Valley; bottoms, slopes, and ridge tops.  We will hike primarily on the Fall Creek and Camp Creek Trails.

Directions: Fort Harrison State Park is on the northeast side of Indianapolis, just east of I-465 and north of 56th Street.  The park entrance is at the junction of Post Road and 59th Street.  We will meet at the Delaware Lake Picnic Area parking lot inside the park.

There is a state park entrance fee.  Here is a web link to a map of the park: http://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/files/ftharrison_trail.pdf
