Hamilton County Conservation Funding & Workshop
The Hamilton County Soil & Water Conservation District has reinstated their cost share program. You may have a conservation project ready to implement or may still be deciding on what project works for you.
The SWCD will help you move forward with a plan and/or complete the application for financial assistance with your project. Applications are due on September 18 to be reviewed at the September board meeting. Learn more
Applicants will have a year to complete their projects. Grants are limited to $500 not to exceed 50% of the project cost.
Hamilton County is also sponsoring a Streams Management Seminar for property owners who want to learn more about taking care of their stream, creek, or ditch. It will be held September 13 and 20 at Cool Creek Nature Center (2000 E 151st Street, Carmel) from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, fee $20 per household. Registration Ends September 7. Download flyer
